Preschool Milestones At FBCAt FBC we feel that your babies first smile, first words and first steps are thrilling and worth celebrating. As they grow and develop into toddlers and then preschoolers they become aware of God's world around them and His wonderful creations.
Bellow are but a few Milestones your child will experience as they grow to know God's love and His truth in their life. We want to be there to support you as each of these occur.
Family Dedication Family Dedication is a special time when you as parents give the child that god gave you back to His care. Before the church body, you promise to raise your child according to His will, understanding that you will always be his most influential teacher. In dedicating your child, you show that you commit to being a Christian role model through example and prayer, you promise to raise your child in the church, and you also ask your church family to pray with you for your child’s salvation. Family Dedications are usually held on Mother's Day every year. Each child is recognized in front of the congregation and given a small gift. Sign up for Family DedicationNew Kid on the Pew (three year old class)Nurturing a child during time of worship is one of the most important God-given responsibilities we have as Christian parents. The first Sunday in June all children attending a three year old Sunday school class (by this time most will have turned four) will join their parents in "Big Church" becoming a "New Kid in the Pew."
The month before joining their family in "Big Church" several opportunities to visit the worship services and meet worship leaders will be provided. Sunday school teachers will also be prepared to answer questions that preschoolers may have. Before
